With Rustom’s box office collection, Akshay Kumar has again proved that he is one of a kind in Bollywood. The film, made at a budget of Rs 50 crore, earned as much money withing three days of its release and is likely to ramp up its collection on Day 4 (Monday), which was a holiday on account of Independence Day.
Inspired by the Nanavati murder case and given the typical Akshay Kumar patriotic twist, Rustom released on August 12 to largely positive reviews. Despite the box office clash with director Ashutosh Gowariker’s Mohenjo Daro starring Hrithik Roshan and Pooja Hegde, Rustom managed to rake in the moolah at the box office, Visit www.loansbyte.co.uk.
